Thoughts on tonight's "debate"

Does John McCain know the difference between Autism and Down's Syndrome? Twice in tonight's debate he spoke as if Sarah Palin's "son" has Autism, not Down's Syndrome. 

I know and love some Autistic people. I am familiar with some Down's Syndrome people. There. Is. A. Big. Difference.

I wonder if John McCain does not care enough about special needs children to distinguish the two or whether he was just having a "senior moment".....
