Joe the Plumber (A Fraud)

Last night Joe the Plumber got more than 20 mentions during the final presidential debate last night.  Today, quite a bit of interesting information came out about Joe. His full name is Samuel J. Wurzelbacher.

1.) In January of 2007 the Ohio Department of Taxation placed a lien against him because $1,183 in personal property taxes has not been paid. (He also had another medical tax lien but that got paid off.)

2.) He has no plumber or contractor's license, at least one of which is required in the county where he lives.

3.) He is a scab. Works non union, in a heavily unionized industry. He's put on his Facebook page that he is a member of Union Local 189, though the union, which endorses Obama, denies that he is a member.

4.) According to divorce court records in 2006, Samuel (AKA Joe) made an annual income of $40,000.

Gosh, with all of these qualifications and his great interest in finance and tax, perhaps John McCain can make Samuel, errr-- I mean Joe, Secretary of the Treasury!

and it's even possible that "Joe" is a relative of one Charles Keating, a Cincinnati native who relocated to Arizona before becoming an S & L fraud, but who had more than his share of Wurzelbachers in his woodpile. A thorough campaign would have identified that possibility and probably thought better of iconifying Samuel J. - but then a thoroug campaign would have tabbed a coherent and qualified candidate for a running mate, too. A thorough campaign would have told its candidate about the importance of teh Google and teh You Tube and explained that you can't say in front of the F***king camera things like "I voted with the Preznit 90% of the time" if you're planning on running as a Pinto - er, Falcon - er, Ranger - er Crown Vic-, no no no I mean Maverick - unless you want to look stoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopid!
