7 States that Could Sway the 2024 Presidential Election
There are 93 electoral votes across these seven swing states that are expected to be pivotal in the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. They are listed here with the number of electoral votes for each.

Georgia 16
Michigan 15
Nevada 6
North Carolina 16
Pennsylvania 19
Wisconsin 10
Across these seven swing states - from the desert Southwest to the Upper Midwest and back down to the South – the outcome remains very much in play, and the 93 votes up for grabs here in these states will likely decide who ends up in the White House next January.
This makes me nervous and sick to my stomach. It’s also really hard for me to understand that there exists such a large number of people who actually think it is safe to give Trump the nuclear codes and to put him in charge of women’s rights. Along the same lines, this next president will likely appoint the next several SCOTUS judges.
So this has me packed up and sitting on a flight to London, then a flight to LAX, dinner with Hannah and ultimately heading for northern Nevada tomorrow morning.
I thought long and hard about whether to volunteer again for this presidential campaign. I did so for Obama in 2008 and 2012 and again for Biden in 2020. I regret not doing so for Hillary Clinton. I do not want to regret not doing so for Kamala.
I will be posting about my adventures while volunteering here on the blog. It’s been a while since I’ve used this blog. But here we go.
